Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy is a branch of healthcare that helps people of all ages and abilities participate in life activities to the fullest. Treatment is individualized based on client factors, environment, and goals. Goals may include improvement with self-care, care for others, health management, rest and sleep cycles, social participation, leisure activities, work productivity, and educational performance.

For Littles

We offer occupational therapy services for children birth to 17 years of age. Our occupational therapy practitioners provide consultative, coaching, therapeutic, and manual services. Sessions may occur one-on-one or in a group in-person and/or virtually. Our focus is meeting clients where they are in order to equip them with the tools to succeed.

What We Offer:

Feeding Evaluation – an assessment of your child’s ability to self-feed. This evaluation assesses your child’s oral motor and fine motor skill development, as well as their behavioral and sensory-based relationship with food.

0-5 Milestone Evaluation – an assessment of your child’s overall gross motor and fine motor ability. This evaluation assesses your child’s primitive reflex response, grasp patterns, ability to manipulate objects, eye-hand coordination, balance, and locomotion.

Sensory Processing Evaluation – an assessment of your child’s ability to modulate auditory, tactile, olfactory, vestibular, proprioceptive, and interoception sensory input.

Visual Perception Evaluation – an assessment of how your child’s brain interprets what they see. This evaluation is recommended for children who have difficulty reading and/or children who have illegible writing that is not affected by motor delay.

Handwriting Evaluation – an assessment that assesses skills associated with handwriting including letter & number recognition, fine motor dexterity, visual perception, and visual motor integration.  This evaluation is recommended for children ages 5-8 who have difficulty forming letters and numbers legibly.

Private Coaching Session – these virtual-only sessions are scheduled in 15min increments and geared toward helping caregivers independently assist their children in identified areas of concern.

Comprehensive Evaluation – includes a thorough assessment of a child’s fine and gross motor ability, visual-motor skills, pre-vocational skills, and ability to modulate sensory input.

For Mothers

Our services support women throughout the dynamic stages of motherhood. We support mothers caring for themselves and others during and after pregnancy through late adulthood.

What We Offer:

Pelvic Floor Therapy – a treatment approach that addresses pelvic floor imbalances and/or dysfunction including instability, pain, bladder/bowl leakage or incontinence and discomfort during intamacy.

Baby and Me Coaching Sessions – these are 30-minute virtual sessions designed   for new and experienced moms. These sessions equip moms with the knowledge and tools to assist their littles in meeting major milestones during the foundational years, birth – 3 years of age. These sessions help set a great learning foundation and readies littles for future academic endeavors.
